Carleton Nordic skiers “ring” in the New Year

The members of the Carleton University Ravens’ men’s Nordic ski team were recently presented with their 2004 Canadian University National Championship rings.

The men have won three national titles in the past six years, under Head Coach Pavol Skvardilo.

The ring ceremony also offered the opportunity to showcase the new Carleton University XC Ski Training Centre, which provides an opportunity for elite cross country skiers to train year-round while studying in high school, college or university in the National Capital Region. The Centre is supported by three coaches and two wax technicians.
