First annual Department of University Safety Ball Hockey Tournament a success

On November 26, 2006, the first annual Department of University Safety Ball Hockey Tournament was held on campus to raise money for the Shepherds of Good Hope Christmas Basket Program. Fire Prevention Officer Rick Percival (centre) and Shift Manager-Patrol Services Richard Young organized the tournament. Special Constable-Patrol Services Richard Sabourin (left) played forward and Shift Manager-Patrol Services John Gallen (right), played goalie. The event raised a total of $750.00 and three local families received a basket that included hats, gloves, scarves, a full Christmas supper and toys.
