Where are they now?

From January 24 – 30, a number of Carleton alumni and employees will be putting in many volunteer hours at the Rideau Curling Club in Ottawa, as the club hosts the 2005 Ontario Women’s Curling Championship (Scott Tournament of Hearts).

“I’m always running into Carleton faces at the club,” says Carleton’s Jackie Carberry (B.A./82), who now works in Admissions Services. “It seems we’ve attracted quite a large and energetic group of Carleton alumni. It’s been a great place to get together, chat, and get a little exercise too.”

Along with Carberry, fellow Carleton alumnae, Heather McAlpine Cloutier (B.A./96), Instructor in Canadian Studies, Richard Nimijean, and employee in Human Resources, Melanie Richardson, are also volunteering on the host committee, and will be keeping busy later this month when the top women’s teams battle it out to represent Ontario at the Canadian Championships in February.
