Unsportsmanlike conduct

I was very dismayed to see the picture of Francine Charbonneau on page 7 of the April issue (Journalism internship…). As a “sports journalist” she should know that only teams that have won the Cup are allowed to raise it over their heads. It is frowned upon (dare I say forbidden) for anyone else to raise the Stanley Cup. At the most, the public is allowed to pose with it and perhaps kiss it. It goes against all tradition and code of conduct to dishonour the Holy Grail in the way she did. I would expect better from a true sports fan.

P. S.
I will be watching the Senators celebrate next year by raising the Cup.
