Murdock appointed as new health and counselling services director

Suzanne Blanchard, the associate vice-president (student support services) announced in January that Maureen Murdock would be assuming the position of the director of Health & Counselling Services. The appointment was effective on February 1, 2008.

Murdock comes to Carleton University with over 25 years of experience working in health care and management at the Ottawa Hospital. Her positions included clinical manager of inpatient programs, program manager of the diabetes and endocrinology outpatient clinics and most recently as a regional program manager for the Ontario Stroke System.

She is enjoying the opportunity to work with Carleton’s team of health care professionals to provide health and counselling services to students, faculty and staff.
