Professional Achievement Award (Librarians)

These awards are presented to professional librarians for outstanding performance, and are valued at $1,500.

  • Judy Senecal
    Electronic Reference Services LibrarianJudy Senecal is awarded a Professional Achievement Award for her work in developing and redesigning the Library’s Web site. Working in collaboration with Bruce Morland, her work on the site was exceptional. Her efforts, achieved within a limited time frame, and in consultation with staff in the various departments, have resulted in the creation of a Web site that is both cohesive and user-friendly.
  • Callista Kelly
    Interlibrary Loans LibrarianAs Head of the Interlibrary Loans Department, Callista Kelly is well known and respected for her service contribution to faculty and students and co-operative work with other libraries. Recently, she was a key player in the outstanding success in the launch of RACER, an efficient online interlibrary loan system that gives faculty and students the ability to search all Ontario university libraries and request books online.
