Perking up the hockey slump

Suffering from hockey withdrawal? Thanks to a new partnership with the Ottawa 67’s, Carleton’s Alumni Association can help get you out of the slump!

Just $36 will get you a family pack of four tickets to see a 67’s game. Included in the $36, is a voluntary donation of $5 toward Carleton scholarships and bursaries.

It’s part of a new deal within the Association’s Perks of Membership, a program that offers a series of benefits and services encouraging alumni to get involved with the University while giving back to the students. The deal is open to all alumni, faculty, and staff for home games throughout the entire season.

“The Ottawa 67’s is the latest in a string of deals we have negotiated,” says Alumni Services Director Nancy Lewis. “Not only are you getting a special deal, but you have the opportunity to give back to the University.”

The University has agreed to match every $5 donated, and the province then matches that total amount again.

“You are buying four tickets for $36 and $20 is actually going to Carleton students,” says Lewis. “It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved.”
