Convocation: Yvonne Langen wins H.M. Tory Award

Journalism and Women’s Studies alumna Yvonne Langen will receive the Henry Marshall Tory Award at the November convocation.

Langen, who is currently doing graduate studies at the University of Toronto, is receiving the award for her academic achievements and her participation in university life. Her contributions to student life programs and her dedication to her academics have been ongoing through her role as the co-captain of the Women’s Varsity Field Hockey Team, within mentoring first-year students in various extra-curricular initiatives and as an undergraduate Teaching Assistant.

Yvonne is currently enrolled in a Women and Gender Studies graduate program at the University of Toronto.
