The United Way Campaign is coming!

The planning for the launch of the Carleton University United Way campaign this fall is well underway. The core team of volunteers is working hard to make this campaign a true success with interesting and fun events for our community. But the campaign co-chairs, Chantal Dion and Christine Marland, are looking for more helping hands — no amount of commitment is too small.

Presently, the campaign is in urgent need of a volunteer from each unit on campus to be the United Way office representative. As of now, only 50 per cent of units have an official canvasser. The success of the campaign depends on office reps to distribute pledge forms to members of their unit and promote special campaign events. The campaign needs your involvement. To volunteer for office rep, contact christine_marland@carleton.ca

Have an idea for a special campaign fundraising event for your unit? Use your creativity and have some fun! All suggestions welcome. Write to chantal_dion@carleton.ca with your ideas.
